The 2008 GMAC Insurance National Drivers Test found that 16.4%, of drivers, or 33 million, don't know the rules of the road. The Japanese carmaker announced Monday that its "ECO Pedal" system, which makes the gas pedal press upward when it senses motorists are speeding up too quickly. Nissan said the system, which will be available next year, can help drivers improve fuel efficiency 5% to 10%.
