Outrageous Redefined: We put the spurs to the newest Italian Stallion. An Enzo seems tame by comparison. Photography by Winston GoodfellowThe "jet fighter for the street" concept has been around since the late 1970s, the ill-fated, never really worked Vector being the most obvious attempt. Three decades later it has finally arrived, thanks to Lamborghini.

Lamborghini will grow slowly, carefully, from its current volume of 2400 cars worldwide. What we're doing is we stick to the two-model range. We have a longer lifecycle than most normal cars. But because we recognize it's important to always have something new, we promise to our customers to have one new product coming out every year.

The 2007 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster combines the LP640 coupe's technical and design updates with the al fresco style of the previous Murcilago Roadster. The angular body basics are the same, but the front and rear ends get a nip/tuck; that front spoiler could be dangerous to one's shins.

Photography by Wesley AllisonAccording to the latest data, the median home price in Miami-Dade County is $381,600. That figure may have been used in a great deal of sidewalk calculating as we drove a 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder through the streets of South Florida. "If I sell the house and buy that car, I'd still have maybe $181...

How will Lamborghini — a company that produces vehicles with only V10 and V12 engines — meet new emissions and fuel economy standards? Put simply — it won't. "We will never reach the emissions that are asked for...

By Rory JurneckaWhen the Lamborghini Gallardo was introduced in the U.S. for 2004, it marked the Italian automaker's return to an entry-level model as the Silhouette and Jalpa models had in the 1970s-1980s -both serving as V-8 brothers to the fire-breathing V-12 Countach. With 495 horsepower originally emanating from the 5.0-liter V-10...

Lamborghini of America is following in the footsteps of long-time rival — and reason for the brand’s very existence — Ferrari in offering a certified pre-owned vehicle program. The program will start in July at 31 authorized U.S. dealers, where Gallardos and Murcielagos will be sold with a warranty and roadside assistance. The warranties will include coverage for powertrain...

Yesterday, Lamborghini announced it would launch a certified pre-owned car program, and today the Italian supercar maker is proclaiming it will offer Sirius satellite radio in its models as standard equipment. The first raging bull model to be equipped with the commercial-free music broadcaster will be the 2009 model year Murcielago in the U.S.

Platform and component sharing has become a way of life at many automakers in an effort to streamline production costs, but downright badge engineering isn't good for any brand. While no one will accuse exotic carmaker Lamborghini of the latter, the automaker is taking steps to prevent criticisms of parts sharing with parent Audi.

Last night, I watched a ratty old Suzuki Swift bimble out of the pitlane during qualifying for the Nurburgring 24-hour race. A Lamborghini Gallardo followed it out of the pitlane; all wings, slicks and glowing exhausts. As automotive double-takes go...

Photography by Evan KleinSquint all you want, but still you can't tell. Far in the distance, approaching fast, it's an alien shape, a silhouette not found on the standard vehicle-I.D. charts. What the...? It's a...it's...okay, 50 bucks says it's a giant nacho cheese Dorito. Suddenly the UFO flashes into rakish relief and claws to a standstill at your feet.

Mark Hughes got his Manchester City reign off to a winning start last night in the unlikely surroundings of the Faroe Islands. First-half goals from Martin Petrov and Dietmar Hamann gave City a comfortable victory in this Uefa Cup first qualifying round first-leg tie, seemingly making the return on July 31 at Oakwell a formality.

The threatening rotary-blade wheels. The giant tailpipe's tip that's turning blue with the heat. Even the refreshed taillamps that light up in the shape of nuclear-hazard symbols. Be afraid. Be very afraid. The name alone marks this car as an awkward cuss: Murcielago. Five syllables, and hard ones at that for an Anglo-Saxon tongue to navigate.

Affordable. Fuel-Efficient. Fashionable. Hey, this could work. By Matt StoneIt draws as many stares as any Lamborghini. People stop to pose with it for photos. They give thumbs up. Kids point. But mostly, they ask, "Where can we buy one of these?" Even though Smart has been sold in several global markets for a decade now, the smiling microcars are finally making their way to the U.S. market.
