A blue plaque has been unveiled at the home of late St Trinian's star Alastair Sim. The character actor is best known for his lead roles in 1951 film Scrooge and 1960's School For Scoundrels. He also famously played headmistress Miss Fritton in two St Trinian's comedies in the 1950s. The English Heritage plaque was unveiled at 8 Frognal Gardens in Hampstead by Sim's daughter Merlith McKendrick.
