The licensing agreement marks the development of Ignition's first FPS, but the company said in a statement that it is "very confident" that can inject something fresh into the well-traveled genre. The new game is based on original IP, and is in development by Ignition Florida. It's slated for a 2009 release. Ignition offered no further details on the unannounced game.
