Nintendo has made a surprise announcement ahead of its E3 conference, unveiling an accessory that enhances the Wii Remote controller. The Wii MotionPlus, which will attach to the bottom of the Wii Remote, is designed to improve the motion-sensing abilities of the console's current controller, allowing it to track a player's movement with a far greater degree of accuracy.

Dragon Quest IV confirmed, dated for North America

An English teaser site has popped up for the upcoming Nintendo DS remake of Dragon Quest IV, confirming that the game is indeed coming to North America. There's not much to the site at the moment, but it does give a previously unannounced release date for the game, which should be making its way to the US on September 16, 2008.
