Miyamoto and Iwata talk FPS games, Wii Zapper, and more One of the more unique titles to hit the Wii is one that usually doesn't get much recognition. Nintendo's Link's Crossbow Training, which came packaged with the Wii Zapper, came out of Miyamoto's fascination with first-person titles. A new "Iwata Asks" interview with Shigeru Miyamoto put out by Nintendo has some great new details about how the pack-in game came to be.

Testing Wii Speak microphone with Mario While checking out Nintendo's first-party games at my appointment, I had a chance to check out a PR person playing Animal Crossing: City Folk on the Wii with... well, with Mario and Luigi. Yes, the characters looked like Mario and Luigi, and, in a fun twist, the company had Charles Martinet, the voice of Mario, spirited away in a back room interacting with whoever was playing.
