PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Tourism officials say Philadelphia was visited by more than 550,000 international visitors in 2007. That's a 27% increase from the year before — and an all-time record for the city. A report released Tuesday by the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau attributes the rise in part to the declining dollar, which makes the U.S. a bargain for European travelers.

David Fincher to produce 'The Goon'

David Fincher will produce a CG-animated film adaptation of Dark Horse comic The Goon, says The Hollywood Reporter. Created by Eric Powell in 1999, The Goon focuses on a man who claims to be a mob enforcer. The use of ghosts, zombies and mad scientists give the stories a supernatural and comedic slant. Powell will write the film's script with Fincher overseeing the project as producer.
