When he was a free agent three years ago, Keyon Dooling was wooed by the New Jersey Nets.He recalled having dinner at a New York restaurant with Nets coach Lawrence Frank and team president Rod Thorn, when he got a call from the Magic. He eventually signed a three-year contract with Orlando, turning down an offer from the Nets. Three years later, the 28-year-old guard has landed in New Jersey.

The independent study, by Lord Woolf, the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, is likely to examine how the firm conducts arms deals. The review began after revelations that it made multi-million pound payments to help win a Saudi Arabia deal though all parties deny wrongdoing.

The BBC has axed BBC Two newspaper review show What the Papers Say the second longest running programme on British TV. The BBC said it had decided not to recommission the series as the way audiences consumed the news had changed. The weekly 10-minute review of the nation's papers has been on television screens since 1956. Only Panorama, launched in 1953, has had a longer run.
