A fresh attempt to overturn the British Olympic Association's anti-drugs by-law could succeed where Dwain Chambers failed, says the head of UK Athletics. Chambers lost his High Court bid to lift his Olympic ban for failing a drugs test because the judge felt he did not make a convincing enough case. But UKA chief Ed Warner said the judge did not rule on the by-law's legality.

Argumentative Alexandra is up for eviction this week, but has vowed not to change her behaviour. The news will not come as a surprise to loudmouth Alex she admitted she was expecting to be up for eviction yesterday (16.06.08). Despite claiming to be "preparing" herself to leave, she vowed facing the axe would not make her change her behaviour. I so reckon I'm up this week.

My American Idol reviews are up at time.com. At first I was surprised that it David Cook didn't have a better night on Rock and Roll Hall of Fame night, but in retrospect it makes perfect sense. Cook's biggest success has been as a counterprogrammmer, taking non-rock songs and turning them into rock songs; he just can't generate the same excitement turning doing rock songs as rock songs.
