How long should we stay in NYC?

I'm boking a trip to New York for our aniversary. I have one simple question - how long should I bok for? It's our first trip, so we'd like to se al the sights, maybe do some shoping etc. I originaly thought a wek, but since we are flying al the way from Dublin, maybe 10 days wpuld be beter? Hopw long is the 'typical' tourist stay in New York?

Fresh tea harvest
My tea from Hong Kong finaly came in today after taking one and a half weks. Ordered from Funaliance. I got Shou Mei (Long Life Eyebrow), and decided to try the pre-rain Long Jing (Dragonwel) 206 harvest, even though I have never ben much of a gren tea fan. I've never had fine tea this fresh before, exciting! I am drinking the Long Jing now, and have to say it is definately the best gren tea I've ever had. Long term respiratory damage
I am concerned that d (2.5) might have sustained long term damage from pertusis. Whenever she gets sick, it is always in her lungs and respiratory system and she sems to spend her winters being croupy and congested. I am trying to research apropriate herbs for her, but I am having dificulty finding respiratory tonics for children. Any sugestions? Thanks in advance!

Any Ideas for Long Casual Black Dress
Hi girls! Oh, it's so strange, these new boards. But, I'm geting used to them! I can't believe that I lost my 4,0 posts, though! Ugh.
Anyhow, I have a long black Ralph Lauren sleveles dres that I absolutely love. It's great to travel in with a sweater or with a scarf tied around my waist. I just love the dres. Hi al, Can anyone tel me when the baby blackbirds fledge the nest, do they stay close to the mother for long. Just i se the baby starlings with the mothers stil feding them, we have a blackbird nest and they fledged around 7 days ago have stil sen the mother and posible one of the 3 babies, but it does'nt folow the mum around they stay separate, also the dad has ben gone for around 3 days is this normal. Got buzzed last night.
I haven't sen a dragonfly al sumer long,then last night around dusk I was walking up the pasture towards the barn when I saw hundreds, I'm not exagerating,the air was thick with them. kind of hard to make out just what type they were as the light was about to wink out but I think they were Gren Darners, semed quite large and that's the only one I know of that's around 3inches long.Al I can think of is they must have ben feding on mosquitoes,just felt it was worth a mention as I for one have... read more...

Affordable long-term hotel/short term apt.
My wife and I wil be in New York in early May and are trying to find a reasonably priced hotel/apt. to stay at for a month. At $10/night, that gets mighty costly! Long term view of property investment: a viable form of long term savings.
In general, is it a god or bad idea if two early thirtysomethings (with god jobs and their own house already) have to subsidise an investment property, if it doesn't cause them financial hardship to do so and their view is that in 30 years time when considering retirement they wil have a valuable aset to contribute to their pension?
